I work with employers and HR managers to provide employees with supplemental insurance coverage such as short-term disability, life insurance, accident coverage, cancer, and critical illness policies that protect employees from events not covered by major medical care policies. In addition, through an affiliate I can provide guaranteed issue life insurance to groups over 15, with no minimum participation or simplified for those under 15. I also “tell it straight and take affordability into account.” I recently advised a policy holder that they were stretching their budget and may want to consider 2 policies this year instead of 4, ultimately saving this client a strain on their budget and angst in multiple ways.
