The Davro Iron & Steel Company Ltd was founded in the West Midlands in 1949. It changed its name to Davro Steel Ltd in February 2014 and embarked on a programme of modernisation. Davro moved to its new premises in June 2015, embarking on a period of significant investment in premises, plant and people to progress to being the leading slitting company in the UK Continued investment in plant, and processing machinery, has enabled Davro to become one of the leading independent steel service centres in the United Kingdom. Our independence allows Davro to purchase material from the world's leading steel manufacturers. We now have long standing supply partnerships in place, on a global scale, creating a platform to distribute products to many sectors throughout Great Britain, and Europe. Our core products are Hot Rolled, Cold Reduced, Galvanised, and Electro-Zinc, with niche products being other specialist coated steels. Wide coils can be processed into sheet, blanks, strip, and slit coil in-house, to meet with our client's specific requirements.
