Mark O’Beirn is a seasoned Welding and Coatings Subject Matter Expert with over 15 years of hands-on technical experience in pipeline construction, integrity management, and facility maintenance across Canada and the United States. Known for his leadership in QA/QC inspection, welding and coating procedure development, and regulatory compliance, Mark has successfully contributed to projects ranging in value from $50K to $20M. Mark currently operates across North America and brings deep technical expertise to every project. He has contributed as an SME to AMPP’s FBE coating credentialing initiative and participated in industry podcasts including the AkzoNobel Coatings Talk Podcast. Throughout his career, Mark has led teams of up to 75 personnel, supervised field operations, and supported quality documentation, turnover, and safety programs.
