About Mark Oberlin

Mark has been advising investors for over 30 years, the past 28 years at Raymond James. He and his 5 member team help clients reach their financial goals through broad-based financial planning, tax and estate planning, and risk and wealth management. His Group also specializes in 401k plan design, implementation and management and employer-sponsored 529 college plans. Mark graduated from Ferris State University in 1980 and did graduate finance work at Western Michigan University. He is a member of Raymond James Chairman’s Council*, Retirement Planning Advisory Council, and has earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation. In his spare time Mark enjoys travelling, woodworking, fishing, and music performance. He is a 35 year active member and past President and director of the Grand Rapids Lions Club. Mark lives in Cascade with his wife Kathy and their dog Dory. Their son Steve graduated in May 2014 from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and just recently joined his team at Raymond James. Their daughter Amy is nearing completion of her doctoral work in Computational Biology at the University of Michigan and lives/works in Ann Arbor with her husband Dr. Tom Bander.
