Programme Controls leader with a demonstrated history of working in both Pre and Post contract capacities on large, complex, multi-contract construction projects in the pharmaceutical, aviation, food processing, mission critical, private and public sectors. Goal driven personality who maintains a productive climate and confidently motivates and coaches others to meet required standards. Leading & delivering as part of professional multi-national consultancies and client organisations, responsible for effective commercial management from feasibility estimation through to tendering, procurement, contract award and commercial administration of contracts during construction. Roles have included Quantity Surveying Dept. Manager and lead QS. My experience covers pre-contract cost planning for small, medium & large scale projects including estimation from feasibility stage to control estimates, change management throughout the estimation stage, value engineering, procurement strategy, contract selection, tendering, tender evaluation and tender reporting along with agreement of contract sums. Post contract roles include full commercial management of construction contracts on complex multi discipline projects, including administering cost controls, assessment of variations and claims, issuing site instructions, evaluation and agreement of progress claims, preparation of payment certificates, financial reporting and settlement of final accounts. Now managing a team of 30 programme controls professionals covering Cost, Schedule, Risk and reporting across a €3bn capital investment plan
