About Mark Ogburn

I am a Senior Information Technology leader with a broad range of IT Infrastructure experience, recently focusing on continuous improvement, infrastructure expansion, security and risk based audits. I have both executive and hands on experience in partnering technology with the business to create a competitive advantage. For the last 12+ years I’ve grown to lead the Infrastructure and Operations department at RFMD/Qorvo aligning technology advancements with company goals. I am currently doing IT Security Audits at Lincoln Financial Group. In 2008 I pioneered RFMD’s Security Improvement Program to incorporate security in all aspects of IT and the business. In a continuing effort to improve RFMD/Qorvo’s security posture we have implemented many projects to upgrade the security position, from two factor authentication and password policies to heuristic and behavioral based scanning to detect anomalies among many others. I am a true problem solver at heart in both my professional and personal life. I enjoy the process of solving problems and I gain great satisfaction once the problem is solved.
