About Mark Ohare

I’m the Head of Corporate Governance - Corporate & Legal Solutions (CLS)- Ireland at CSC. I have several direct reports in Ireland with indirect reports in another jurisdiction (combined total 10+). EMEA subject matter expert. My experience to date has resulted in an expertise regarding process management. This aspect of my role involves ongoing regional responsibilities (UK, Ireland and Channel Islands) and attendance at group offices in other jurisdictions. Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute (FCG) and Licentiate of Compliance Institute (LCI) with a focus on providing guidance in respect of Irish company law, corporate governance and compliance to client officers, client shareholders and my employer. Extensive exposure to full suite of governance services inclusive of annual compliance, corporate restructuring, bespoke drafting, company formations and dissolution etc. A specialist in the provision of quarterly board meeting services. Client focused approach to service provision. I actively promote and support the professional development and mental health of the members of my team. I aim to promote initiative with a positive attitude. Trained in a big four accountancy practice from 2009 and also worked for a FTSE 100 stock exchange listed entity before joining the Intertrust Group in 2016 (CSC from 08 April 2024 post acquisition on 07 November 2022). My professional experience has involved tax structuring and the management of compliant processes for a large portfolio of both indigenous and international corporate structures including SPV’s, Irish Stock Exchange and London Stock Exchange listed entities. Proficient in business development, recruitment, people management, template drafting, contracting and billing.
