An experienced IT Service Manager with a comprehensive background, which includes expertise in delivering and supporting complex and time-critical projects in a wide range of environments that span the finance, manufacturing, retail & telecoms sectors across the EMEA region, with tier 1 & 2 clients. As a key player in ensuring critical systems remain online and available, I am accustomed to being thrown in at the deep end, quickly assessing all aspects of the environment, and taking appropriate action based on more than twenty years of front line experience. Twenty years of experience with Unix hosted database applications, including Perl and Unix shell scripting. Solid Unix administration skills, and an expert in diagnosing & correcting issues at the data level using SQL.
