Background

About Mark Padilla

After working with one of the most diverse divisions of the Kroger Company for a little over 11 years, I have to say that the best part of my job was developing my team. I had not only the pleasure of recruiting and hiring talent for my business unit, but also to be part of the developmental journey in helping members of my team realize their potential. Nurturing my direct reports to see them become members of management themselves brought me some of the proudest moments in my career. I took a leave from my position to pursue my formal education as I shift my career to a more focused role in the field of Human Resources. Learning about company culture, California employment law, training and development in a formal learning environment have been truly illuminating experiences during my time at UCI’s Human Resources Management Certificate Program. Please feel free to reach out to me at mark.padilla84@outlook.com. Specialties: Training/ Developing, Recruiting/ Onboarding, Culture Development, I-9 Verification, Conflict Resolution, Staff Scheduling.
