About Mark Pappas

My name is Mark, and I'm a PhD Student at The Chicago School, studying Industrial Organizational Psychology. I have been fortunate enough to work for some incredible organizations and various roles that have helped me develop professionally. I've gained valuable experience in market research, recruiting, process improvement, client management, project management, and developing and evaluating organizational strategy. In support of this, my PhD program focuses on consulting, change management, organizational assessment, conflict resolution, and professional coaching. For my dissertation, I am studying how organizations fire employees and how that impacts their experiences during unemployment. I am certified in Hogan Assessment Systems, which includes assessments designed to identify workplace strengths, organizational values, and derailing behavior - behaviors that tend to sabotage careers. Additionally, I can administer 360 Degree Assessments and Team Assessments. I am also working on my Certified Career Services Provider credential through the NCDA, and hope to begin coaching professionally soon!
