About Mark Parker

An experienced FINANCIAL SERVICES EXECUTIVE with expertise in credit risk, capital management and risk return analytics. A thoughtful leader who provides strategic direction, problem solving and critical thinking, while building strong and diverse teams that are client focused, collaborative and intent on enhancing return on risk for the enterprise. A proven ability to drive technology and data strategy, largely related to portfolio management, model implementation, analytics and reporting. Over 25 years of experience across credit portfolios including, counterparty risk, structured credit, asset based lending, commercial real estate, corporate and consumer credit. At PNC Bank, he was responsible for the Credit Portfolio Management function. He took the opportunity to develop the strategic framework regarding the management of the bank’s credit portfolio. This included: • Analysis and oversight for the C&I and CRE portfolios • Wholesale reserves and build out of the CECL framework • Ownership of the credit risk models used for risk and decision making • CCAR credit loss forecast and build out of the technology platform • Redevelopment of the bank’s credit risk appetite framework Mark has been at the forefront of the data and technology initiatives underpinning these developments. Mark spent 17 years with BNP Paribas in NY and Singapore in roles focused on the risk management of trading products, securitization and the Americas’ CPM group. Mark’s team was responsible for the P&L and management of a $60 billion large corporate loan portfolio. The team implemented credit and liquidity transfer pricing processes and contributed to the management of the balance sheet and RWA. He is a CFA and graduated from the Chemical Bank credit training program. Mark holds a B.S. degree in Management and Communication from Adelphi University. A member of the IACPM, currently serving as the middle market chair and has previously served on the Board.
