About Mark Pasella

Throughout my career as a consultant to major manufacturing operations, it was my responsibility to assess the project and recognize a solution. As a Weld Quality Coordinator at a General Motors assembly plant, I was responsible for a three shift production schedule with 18 weld quality inspectors reporting to me. I have managed major projects and coordinated the activities of plant engineers and support resources. I have coordinated with Manufacturing Engineering to ensure manufacturing and assembly requirements were met. I gave technical direction to suppliers and provided field engineering support throughout equipment installation, start-up, de-bug and acceleration phases. As a consultant, my projects required me to travel to build and integration shops and plant sites in North America and Europe to ensure construction and installation requirements were met. In my experience consulting, I have provided technical direction and support for product design and processing. I have resolved complex engineering problems in accordance with the required standards and provided technical support for training of plant personnel. I have reviewed drawings/blue prints to ensure compliance with technical specifications, coordinated field changes and prepared the appropriate documentation. My career has been largely based in the automotive field and I am familiar with the standards and specifications of General Motors, Ford and Chrysler. However, my knowledge reaches far past the automotive industry and will prove valuable in any production operation.
