I have held a variety of bid/commercial management positions over the past 25 years, most recently in the telecoms industry but prior to that in the defence and capital equipment (printing) industries. In my capacity as manager of bid centres, I have played a key role in the development of tools and processes aimed at improving the efficiency with which my organisations qualify opportunities, develop capture plans/proposal strategies and manage the bidding activity. I moved into a contract management role in early 2011 and am currently employed as Nokia's Commercial Contract Manager for EE's 4G network rollout programme throughout the UK. In 2014 and 2015 I received recognition awards from Nokia for my work in negotiating and managing this contract with EE.
