Mark Perumean has 37 years of diversified experience, in-depth knowledge and proven performance in all aspects of the environmental solid waste and recycling industry. He has held a variety of managerial positions during his career. He has managed, Transfer Stations, Material Recovery Facilities, Green-waste / Composting facilities, Public “Buy Back” Centers, Recycle processing facilities and Collection / Operating Divisions. As a Corporate Representative, he was placed at the forefront of major capital expenditures, developed and implemented new policies company wide, negotiated and procured equipment for multi-million dollar projects and represented / presented as a key company representative. Currently, holding the title of General Manager of both Los Angeles and Orange County he manages administration duties, Transfer Station, and collection services for LA & OC with over a 100 employees operating a variety of collection, transportation and service vehicles. This is a highly competitive and rigorous service orientated business which demands organization, requires superior customer service and comprehensive communication. In addition to providing services for over 12 thousand customers a day, Mr. Perumean is an elected official who is currently the President of the Board of Directors at La Habra Heights County Water District. Appointed in December of 2009 and elected in November 2011, he along with four other board members have the distinct honor and responsibility to be directly involved in managing and monitoring district activities. He has been a two-term Past President and current member of the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce, current member of the La Mirada Kiwanis Club / Board of Directors and most recently current member of the Weingart Family YMCA Board of Directors.
