About Mark Pierce

Mark joined SAIC in Oct 2017 in support of Air Combat Command A5/8/9 Advanced Programs. Previously the Sr. Manager of Sales & Marketing for Boeing Global Strike, Weapons & Missile Systems Business Unit; Mark is a Boeing certified Capture Team Leader (CTL). As CTL he led the Boeing capture effort on the B61 Mod-12 Tail Kit Assembly responding to the Air Force’s requirement for a tail kit as part of the B61 Life Extension Program. Boeing secured a competitive win for the program. Mark is a retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel with more than 25 years of service and experience. His Air Force career highlights include: 4 years on Air Combat Command staff managing Air Force requirements on 2 primary air-to-ground munitions; more than 9 years as F-15E Weapon System Officer, Instructor and Evaluator accumulating over 1,900 hours of combined combat, instructor and test flight time; 3 years as a formal Flight Instructor training Air Force Navigators, Naval Flight Officers and International Flight Officers; over 7 years as an electronics technician diagnosing complex electronic circuits. Mark recently earned Private Pilot's License with an instrument rating.
