About Mark Pierson

Mark Pierson is a serial entrepreneur, seasoned marketing executive, and passionate “product guy”, whose specialty is defining and marketing new and innovative software solutions for global businesses. He has helped conceive and develop several “world-class” software products from scratch, taking them from their earliest design phases, through market introduction, all the way to significant market growth. The products Mark helped create, define, and market have received multiple industry awards for innovation, and have been specifically recognized for their “simplicity and elegance”. Mark’s specialty and “passion” though lay in the area of group/team communication and collaboration applications, leading him to found his current new venture, CloudBoard, a SaaS-based “visual storytelling” solution designed for marketers and brand managers. Mark’s earlier career included time as a structural design engineer in the shipbuilding industry, and as a volunteer water resources engineer, serving with the US Peace Corps in Thailand. In his spare time you will find him in the White Mountains of New Hampshire where he recently summited his 48th peak. becoming a very proud member of the AMC Footers” Club.
