About Mark Plattner

I am currently Configuration Support for U.S. Bank working on the migration effort to update the current legacy system into Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Part of a team of two, I work with Developers and UX to create the AEM Fragment Models which form the structure of the backend CMS. These models are instantiated into Content Fragments where we then place the page copy. These fragments in turn are placed into Site Pages which serve as JSON endpoints that the front-end uses to render web pages. Additionally, I am responsible for maintaining the content on the legacy system, which includes updating text, images, PDFs, and links, as well as concurrently developing and revising email templates during their migration to a new system. Although my current role does not involve direct client interaction, I maintain good relationships with the internal teams who request our services. I approach these interactions with the utmost professionalism and customer service, in the same manner I would for external clients. I proactively offer solutions and suggestions to address the challenges that inevitably arise in the completion of my tasks. Leveraging my background as an English Teacher and Production Artist, I also contribute by identifying and correcting visual inconsistencies and textual errors, ensuring these are incorporated into request tickets for correction. As a creative problem solver, I am committed to continuous learning, which has enhanced my ability to utilize a diverse skill set from my past experiences.
