I have over 30 years experience within Health, Safety and Wellbeing, as both a Trade Union Health and Safety Representative and since 2005 working throughout Britain as a Health and Safety Advisor for the Environment Agency and more recently Allied Healthcare. I have worked in a wide range of environments including Social Healthcare, construction, offices, facilities, depots, waterways and retail. I have a wide range of experience enabling me to promote health, safety and wellbeing, safe working practices and compliance with legislation. I have Charter Membership (CMIOSH) as a member of Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). I provide technical guidance and support, promote active management of health, safety and wellbeing and advise on implementing appropriate control measures. I have a hands on approach and able to work closely with both senior managers and staff identifying areas for improvement, initiating the required actions and following through to a satisfactory conclusion.
