About Mark Potter

Since graduating with my Master's out of Carnegie Mellon University's Human-Computer Interaction Institute with a specialization in Educational Technology and Applied Learning Science in 2014, I have committed my career to helping organizations build learning experiences that both help instructors instruct and learners learn in the most effective way possible. From empathizing with learners and instructors to ensure products appropriately meet their needs to being a change leader in bringing learning sciences and design thinking to educational organizations, collaborating with a wide range of professionals to help them make an impact on the learning of millions of people around the world drives me and my passion for learning forward. Currently, my focus is iterating on and strategizing around the end to end efficacy pipeline for learning products at Pearson. This involves building and maintaining relationships with a variety of stakeholders across the organization, understanding their products and needs of their customers, and helping connect them with the right efficacy and learning research resources at the right time in the life cycle of their products or capabilities.
