About Mark Price

Currently working for EVRi as a Divisional Delivery Unit Manager. Across the 65 delivery units, I develop and drive continuous improvement in specific areas such as resourcing, quality, cost effectiveness, training and productivity. By understanding fluctuating volumes and peak forecasts, I strive to provide an outstanding service for our courier and contractor network to ensure high performance in our final mile. I spent 3 years in the Field operations at EVRi, taking up roles of North East Regional manager and Regional Planning Manager. I was Responsible for regional performance targets and customer satisfaction through the guiding, coaching and managing of a team of 17 Community Delivery Managers. Maximising service coverage of courier deliveries and collections within the region through the successful and timely recruitment of couriers and their engagement, retention and successful change management (where needed) to ensure a stable and consistently high-quality service is delivered for our customers and clients. From 2009 to 2017 I was self employed predominantly working in logistics and providing courier /contract solutions for 3 of the top leading parcel companies in the UK. During this time I gained a great insight into what is required when providing delivery services for corporate clients and B2C/C2C customers. Being self employed provided me with the flexibility to study at university on an evening and also allow me to travel the world and explore different cultures. I have the ability to pay attention to detail, meet deadlines and provide a high standard of work. With excellent interpersonal and communication skills it allows me to build relationships with colleagues across the organisation. I am a meticulous and well organised individual that possesses the ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances. By utilising a positive can-do approach, I am forever willing to go that extra mile to ensure tasks and objectives are finished on time and to the highest of standards. I am a dependable, dedicated and highly ambitious person that will strive to help push a company in the right direction and will happily get involved in projects that influence the company's growth. I studied at Teesside University for 3 years between 2013-2016 and came away with BA Hons in Business Management.
