About Mark Ramseyer

Mark Ramseyer began a position as a Continuing Educator II – Program Director of Finance, Accounting and Taxation with UCLA Extension on November 1, 2017. Prior to this Mark served as a Strategic Planning Analyst with the UCLA Office of Academic Planning and Budget for two years, a Analytical Financial Planner in Academic Planning and Budget for four years; a Senior Administrative Analyst for five years with UCLA Extension and a Program Manager for five years at UCLA Extension. In 2021 Mark was awarded the UCLA EXCEL Award for excellence in leadership and management. Mark is a past Chair of the UC-Wide Administrative Management Professionals (AMP) Board; past Chair of the UCLA Administrative Management Group (AMG); and completed the UCLA Professional Development Program (PDP). Prior to UCLA, he worked his way up in the banking industry from a bank teller to the position of Assistant Vice President with First Federal Bank. He is an experienced public speaker and has worked with many advisory boards and served on the board of directors for four non-profit organizations. Mark completed his Marketing Certificate with a concentration in Web Analytics and Social Media at UCLA Extension. He completed the Financial Management Certificate program at UCLA. Mark holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and has an undergraduate degree in Social Sciences from Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington.
