Dr Mark Rehn, BE PhD MBA FAICD FIEAUST CPEng FIMC CMC, Founder, My Business Excellence® and Co-author of book:'GOING ALL IN - How To Implement Excellence In Your Business' Dr Rehn’s mission is to help SMEs / SMBs implement best practices for running their businesses. During the 1980s and 1990s, Dr Rehn was managing director of Aptech Australia, one of Australia’s leading management consultancies. He led the teams that developed the federally funded methodologies for World Competitive Manufacturing (WCM) and for Total Quality Management (TQM) and introduced them into Australian and New Zealand businesses via several hundred specially trained consultancy firms. The firm’s focus for these 14 years was on helping SME clients formulate and execute strategy through process improvement. Aptech Australia was acquired by IBM Global Services in 1996. Over the next 5 years, Dr Rehn undertook leadership roles in Business Transformation, Strategic Partnering, and Knowledge Management for Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific Region. Working as an independent consultant since 2001, Dr Rehn has helped SMEs / SMBs understand and implement business excellence. In collaboration with Mark James over the past 8 years, he has progressively converted his successful consulting methodology into the My Business Excellence® web-based offering designed exclusively for SMEs. He is a Master Speaker for the international network of CEOs known as The Executive Connection (TEC) on the topic of how best to implement business excellence. He is also a regular speaker at the Leadership Think Tank, the CEO Institute and the Leadership Collective. Mark has been awarded TEC's Speaker of the Year several times and has won the Mick Robertson Award for delivering the most value to participating businesses.
