About Mark Rigby

A little about myself and what I do… I worked in Corporate for the majority of my career. Upwards of 23 years as a leader in the Manufacturing space… and if you know anything about the industry, you know it’s volatile, challenging, and sometimes unpredictable. Donaldson was a company I got to serve as an Executive in, and it truly gave me the skills, tools, knowledge, and confidence to eventually branch off and succeed on my own. Since then, I've founded and launched my own Franchise Consulting agency - Rigby Group LLC. I help Professionals in a similar place in their careers as I was a few years ago in exploring the diverse business ownership opportunities available to them. I’ve seen Execs pivot into a business that aligns with the industry they have the most experience in, while others decide to make a 180% change and pursue a brand that excites them; a space they’ve always been curious to explore. As someone who’s already walked the path, I know firsthand- Why a corporate Exec can feel like they’ve “hit a wall” at some point in their career. Both professionally and financially- How difficult it is to achieve true work-life balance- How our priorities change as we age, and how much we start to progressively value our time freedom to do whatever it is we want…. Travel, spend time with loved ones, garden, golf, etc. I’ve always said: At a certain juncture, we have to recognize that we’ve “paid our dues”, and that it's time for us to take control of our lives by creating a path empowered by liberation. I also- Know what it takes to go down the corporate Exec to business owner pipeline- Know how to properly align your goals, interests, capabilities, etc. with the right opportunity- Have access to 500+ brands across all industries- Have great relationships with the Franchise industry's top notch financial and lending providers, whom I can connect my clients to when needed- Will guide you through every step of the Franchise discovery process through proper education, info sharing, and making key intros- Work with all kinds of structures: Semi-absentee, owner-operator, investor, etc- Have access to a wide range of investment levels.
