I have found a senior management position in a progressive architectural and master planning design firm located in Boston, where I can thrive as a design leader, participate in the management of the office, represent the office in client presentations/ business development, inspire and mentor members of the office, and interface with other disciplines, governing bodies and vendors. With over 45 years of experience in Asia, the Mideast, and the US, in the practice of architecture and urban design; I have experience in a multitude of project types, size and complexity. The range of experience includes a concentration in retail/ mixed use placemaking and hospitality projects, in many diverse ethnic, cultural, geographic, and urban/economic conditions. My experience has been grounded in an inclusive collaborative process, where my passion for excellence is used to lead and inspire a team of professionals, clients, and community in the pursuit of innovative and creative solutions. I approach every project as an opportunity to create a greater urban environment, to enhance the human experience, and to create better urban places to live, work, and enjoy; which in turn are also value added reality-based solutions for my clients. The design and production process is very dynamic and the management of the people resources is critical to delivering the best designed project and meet or exceed expectations and budgets. So my teams need to feel empowered to actively participate in the process and to be given opportunities to learn and grow and be responsible. I respect and embrace diversity, and recognize that the environmental and economic challenges the world now faces demand that we adapt and respond with an innovative vision.
