Goal: Helping photographers, painters, and graphic designers get their printed images framed and on display with a range of framing materials from inexpensive to museum archival quality. Mark hopes to save Frame Destination customers both time and money while increasing the quality of their framed artwork. Mark spends most of his time making Frame Destination, LLC. a go to source for artists' picture framing needs. Everything from marketing to helping people find FDI to operational improvements in production efficiency and quality. Mark Rogers combined his entrepreneurial spirit with his passion for photography to found picture frame retailer Frame Destination Inc. in 2004. While searching for frames for his own prints, Mark realized the need for picture frames in a variety of custom sizes and aesthetics. He founded Frame Destination as an at-home startup, focusing on providing excellent customer service and high-quality picture frames to help customers preserve and display their art. The company quickly outgrew its home base and moved into its current headquarters in Dallas, Texas, where Mark currently serves as president. Mark began his career in electronics as a technician, later advancing to electrical engineering with a specialization in telecom control systems. Now, with a successful picture framing business, he is focused on building a company instead of controls. Mark’s interest in photography allowed him to watch the influence of electronics on the art — what he noticed, however, was that the picture framing industry did not keep up with the newly available print sizes. Rather than continuing to search for a solution, Mark applied the problem-solving skills he gained as an engineer to found Frame Destination Inc.
