I am a diligent and versatile business intelligence professional with 12 years’ experience in finance, the wine industry and consumer products. I have comprehensive technical skills using analytical software for practical business management and improvement. My focus is on the commercial application of data science and advanced analytics to develop effective business solutions and strategies. I have developed solid commercial abilities liaising and communicating with senior management, staff colleagues, industry providers, retailers and suppliers. I create effective relationships with stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective delivery of initiatives. With a strong technical background, I have well developed verbal and written communication and reporting skills. I liaise effectively and efficiently with all organisational levels as well as being able to operate reliably on my own. I have established strong overseas wine industry contacts on numerous Chinese and US market visits. I have personally presented at industry conferences, to senior company executives and government working groups at least monthly and have consulted to wineries on how to use generated industry data to improve their own businesses. I have used market intelligence, route-to-market calculators, benchmarking data, analysis and experience to assist wineries and associations with new marketing strategies. I have given guest lectures at universities and ran a regular column in the Australian Wine and Viticulture Journal. I have advanced skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as DAX PowerBI, SQL, R, M Code and VBA coding languages and Tableau, SQL Server Management Studio and SAS analytical software.
