About Mark Russell Steele

I am currently a Software Engineer within the NatWest Group upon completing a two year Technology Apprenticeship. I’m part of the Design Team within the Enterprise Service Platform (ESP). Working in a large-scale Financial Services Institution for over 5 years, I have gained valuable skills and expertise in Programming, Agile WoW, Process Development and Stakeholder Management. I am a creative thinker, technology enthusiast and have a keen interest in how companies are using technology in the front and back end to improve the overall customer experience. In my current role I’m involved in the day to day work within the Enterprise Service Platform, within the core of the bank. This includes work on Jira process improvement; Excel metric reporting; Automation work and more within the Design team. Outside of work you will find me exploring Scotland and beyond with friends and family; playing golf; binge watching TV (Sports) and movies; practicing mindfulness; attempting to brew my own beer and consuming as much coffee as physically possible.
