About Mark Seaton

Mark is a Program Delivery and Management expert with over twenty years’ experience successfully implementing large, complex programs of work entailing extensive concurrent technical, organisational and procedural change in multiple industry sectors (predominantly Banking and Resources). His experience has been gained worldwide, within varied corporate cultures, leveraging his analytic yet responsive approach and excellent communication. This depth of experience is coupled with a collegiate style which has generated strong client engagements and contributed to the successful leadership and mentoring of Program and capability teams. Being trained in PMBOK, Prince2 and Agile and working in diverse environments, Mark is adept at applying appropriate implementation strategies, enabling him to establish and manage conditions for success across entire initiative lifecycles and also identify remediation strategies for Programs facing delivery challenges. In his roles as GM for Banking and Portfolio Manager he has overseen and reviewed Program health, ensuring adherence to or the adoption of appropriate quality management strategies. Mark’s experience has been sought to provide specialist direction to the implementation of various complex solution delivery Programs for clients such as Westpac, BoQ, Bechtel and Government. He engaged effectively as a member of the various management teams quickly addressing delivery inefficiencies with appropriate governance, project management or commercial expertise. For a decade, as Program Director with CSC, Mark was assigned to various world-wide financial institutions to manage the implementation of integrated banking solutions. On two occasions this entailed replacement of the entire core suite of banking applications and elsewhere other solutions e.g. Card and Merchant management systems. In addition to optimising core business functions of banking system delivery and support he led business growth strategies through successful client relationship management, opportunity management and acquisition.
