About Mark Segaloff

I am an experienced Airline Captain with a demonstrated history of thriving in a team environment and delivering results. I have a passion for safety that was cultivated after leading a pilot group’s accident investigation team. Following this accident I helped develop and implement various safety programs that became industry leading. These programs were created to comb through data and analyze root causes of safety deficiencies. This allowed the team I was working with to create fixes for safety deficiencies and then develop training programs to create a safer work environment. Some of the data we discovered and the subsequent fixes were placed in a law, the Airline Safety and Federal Aviation Administration Extension Act of 2010 (Public Law Since this law was enacted, it has been the safest period of commercial aviation in history in the United States. The work I did on these safety programs allowed me to seek other opportunities in health environment and safety, finance/payroll, and recruiting. These positions have given me extensive experience managing complex projects across various locations and work groups creating innovative solutions for the issues we were facing.
