About Mark Sidorenkov

Mark Sidorenkov is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal in Phoenix, specializing in providing financial and operational restructuring advice to distressed companies and turnaround situations. Mr. Sidorenkov has assisted clients in assessing cash flow and liquidity, budget management, financial planning and forecasting, preparing valuation and liquidation analyses, preparing integrated financial models, assisting in the development and implementation of reorganization plans, and bankruptcy administration. His experience spans across various industries including healthcare, natural resources, manufacturing, wholesale, retail, food service, and technology. Recently, Mr. Sidorenkov advised California Resources Corporation with restructuring efforts related to more than $5 billion in funded debt obligations. Prior to that, he was engaged by Legacy Reserves, an upstream oil and gas company, to serve as a debtor advisor through the chapter 11 proceedings. In 2013, he was debtor advisor to Conexant Systems, a fabless semiconductor company in the high-tech audio / video sector. The case was awarded by M&A Advisor the “Restructuring of the Year” for 2013. Mr. Sidorenkov’s other notable public engagements include Breitburn Energy Partners, Target Canada, Rural/Metro Ambulance, Coldwater Creek, and Furniture Brands International. Mr. Sidorenkov earned his bachelor’s degrees in finance, accounting, and business administration with a concentration in international business from the University of Kansas and a master’s degree in finance with a concentration in fixed income and derivative securities from the University of Arizona. He is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) and is a member of the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors (AIRA).
