Currently working for Allseas as SDPO. Previously i sailed as Senior Dynamic Positioning SDPO For Technip Singapore on board Global 1201 which is a Rigid Pipe S-lay Heavy Lift Vessel currently involved in various S –Lay and heavy lift projects. Technip also utilize me as DP S-Lay Advisor on sister vessel Global 1200 to train and advise DP operators on board on S-Lay operations using Kongsberg K-POS system. Most recent I was DP Advisor for shallow water beach pull operation in the Congo West Africa for Total. During this time I compiled a manual “Basics of S-Lay with K-Pos” for the DP operators and trained each DP operator including the Masters on the contents of the manual. Before my time with Technip i spent 6 years working for Programmed Total Marine ltd in Australia serving as 2nd officer DPO and SDPO on various Vessels including Allseas Rigid S Lay Pipe lay/ROV vessels, Audacia, Lorelay and Solitaire these vessels were fitted with the latest integrated Kongsberg K-Pos, K-Bridge & K- Chief Systems. During my time on Allseas vessels I took a very active roll in training junior/trainee DPOs in S lay Pipelay operation. I have spent 16 years in the oil and gas industry on various offshore support vessels including FPSO, Dive Support, Well stimulation, Pipelay, Core Sample Drilling, ROV and Construction. During this time I obtained a full DP licence and have over DP hours in my IMCA DP log on DP Class 2 and Class 3 vessels.
