BIOGRAPHY I have over 40 years experience in leading and consulting project and engineering teams, in providing non-executive company directorships, and in delivering business consultancy services within defence, utilities, mining, manufacturing, rail, construction, sport, public service and the academic sectors. I also am a 20 year veteran of both the Royal Canadian Air Force and the Royal Australian Air Force. I am currently the Managing Director of Accu Trax Pty Ltd advising on corporate governance, delivering academia, as well as providing innovative STEM solutions by way of engineering, RCM, asset management, project delivery and performance improvement. I am also a proud mentor in the award winning Industry Mentoring Network in STEM program. I hold a Doctor of Business Administration (University of Newcastle), an MBA (Deakin University), a Master of Maintenance and Reliability Engineering (Monash University), and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Royal Military College of Canada). I am a Chartered Professional Engineer, a Fellow of Engineers Australia and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. I am a winner of the 2019 SA Premier’s Science Excellence Awards recognizing outstanding contributions to STEM and the 2019 recipient of the AGM Michell Medal from Engineers Australia for eminence and outstanding national contribution to the Mechanical Engineering Profession. In 2017 I was a finalist in the University of Newcastle Alumni Awards for National Leadership Award in business, commerce and industry.
