Hi there. I’m Mark and I am that annoying person who’s always happy when he calls you. That’s probably because I have managed to work for myself for the past 29 years and been able to get out of bed when I actually want to. I love working with people and helping them achieve what they thought wasn’t possible. Whether it’s helping people understand and navigate boring and tedious workplace compliance obligations or coaching a staff member to achieve their highest potential. That’s what gets me up every day (…and normally around 5.30am) My Business career has landed me in these great Industries and I have worked with many large organisations: • Retail – Blockbuster Video Franchisee • Sales – Telstra Shop Licensee • Trades – Electrical and Fire Safety Maintenance • Facilities – Emergency and Facility Management Over the years I have developed a passion for managing multi-site environments and developing systems and procedures to cope with the challenges encountered in doing so. “If you have to perform the same task more than 3 times in a week, lets develop a tool to do it for you.” This has become the basis of my business career and one of the reasons I have been reasonably successful throughout the years. Some would say that running one business at a time is too hard and then I tell them I currently run 3 different businesses and have another two ideas under construction. They think I’m crazy! My partner certainly does. The secret for me is to gather people you trust close to you and KEEP them there. Coach them, develop them, help them get a mortgage. do anything you can to have them stay by your side. Once you develop trustworthy people who have a passion to learn and succeed, reward them, and you will always be able to go on holidays. I enjoy connecting with new and interesting people and who knows, maybe I could help you one day?
