About Mark Sleasman

Graduated from The University of Findlay in December of 2016 with a Bachelors Degree in Sport and Event Management. I worked at Kroger for over 6 years and had a department head position. I also had some experience supervising children's sports at the YMCA. I was a two year captain of The University of Findlay Men's Soccer Program. I like anything that has to do with sports but what intrigues me the most is the business side of sports. I enjoy learning about this and want to continue to learn more about it. My work ethic and positive attitude has lead me to multiple supervisory positions. I am a natural leader and competitor. My leadership capabilities have ranged from being a captain of high school soccer to coaching college soccer at The University of Findlay. The only thing I have to thank for my unforgettable experiences so far in my life is my excellent work ethic, positive attitude, and my leadership. Proof of my excellent work ethic is my past jobs. At Kroger I started off as a bagger when I was sixteen. I then got promoted to cashier, then to a grocery clerk, then to a department head. So I went from the bottom to near the top while being at Kroger. At the YMCA I started off as a volunteer. Shortly after volunteering I got a job offer to be Supervisor of Children's Sports. So while volunteering my time an employee of the YMCA took notice and offered me a supervisory position.
