Shortly after I finished my Bachelor’s degree in Maastricht I moved to Utrecht to start the Master’s Programme Drug Innovation. During my Master's programme I completed a major internship (Utrecht University) and a minor internship (Sanquin). After my Master's programme, I started my PhD at the University Medical Centre Utrecht. My PhD thesis focussed on the allergenicity of food proteins and how we can predict the allergenicity of novel food proteins which I defended in January 2022. After working for a year as a Life Science Consultant at Amgen for QbD BV as a sr. Associate QA, I was promoted to Specialist QA and started working for Amgen.
