Where else would you rather be than right here, right now?"- Marv Levy I am a lifelong resident of Syracuse, NY and it took me nearly 30 of those years to learn the meaning of taking each day,"one day at a time". Since then, I've sold a few cars, including a new 2013 Nissan Altima coupe to a lady I liked, and we've been together since. Neither of us thought about car seats when she bought the 2-door coupe, and we traded it in a few years later. In 2016, I traded in the auto industry and stumbled into self storage after applying to an ad on Craigslist. I've been fortunate to live, learn, survive, and thrive in the "industry" and all of the changes since by learning from some of the pioneers in our industry on management software, metal buildings, components, facility operations, ownership, and IoT. I helped implement a new, customer-focused technical support experience increasing calls answered by over 90%, audited and performed software data conversions from numerous PMS companies, sold over self storage facilities our PMS solution, consulted for facilities from Long Island to Wisconsin, helped launch a new product to the storage industry, and now helping the pioneers of smart unit monitoring services and IoT in self storage at StorageDefender, bring peace of mind to tenants, operators, and owners. StorageDefender offers subscription-based SaaS service plans purposed to provide 24/7 real-time monitoring and peace-of-mind to its customers. The fabric of our company weaves together a vertically integrated IoT platform with easy-to-use asset operator and end-user interfaces. We are providing facility owner-operators an innovative, low friction, and low cost solution to smart technology modernization and differentiation.
