About Mark Somogyi

I have a lean manufacturing Master Black Belt with over 20 years of hands-on experience on the shop floor with specific training in the TCCS Toyota Production System and Continuous improvement Transformation Program implementation. Through work and life experiences and after completing my Operations Management Diploma and more recently workshop on Certified Life & Executive Coach Training, I have found a strong passion in motivating, coaching and empowering leaders and individuals. I am a strong believer in personal development and as a Big Brother with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Manitoba, I am always looking for ways to become a great role model by influencing people in a positive way. I have been active in the Winnipeg soccer community for 16 years, as a coach and manager and have developed strong verbal, team-leading and motivational skills through this experience. I have successfully implemented continuous improvement in many organizations as Operations Manager and in my current role as a Quality & CI Manager. I have presented at the QNET Excellence Conference on the topic of Lean Office and Change Management and the Dare to Compete conference with Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters (CME). The combination of experience and training have given me valuable knowledge of manufacturing processes and environments.
