Position: Tier2, IT Site-Support technician, responsible for maintaining the IT network infrastructure, automation equipment, and systems at the Ingram Micro Louisville distribution warehouse. A list of equipment that I inventory, maintain, repair, setup, and install: • Lenovo desktops and laptops, including internal parts replacement as well as OS and application installation. • Dell WYSE 3040 Thin Client stations throughout warehouse. This includes installation, troubleshooting, repair, DHCP setup and integration into the Dell WYSE Management Suite. • Printers, including Zebra label printers, ZE500, ZT410’s, Datamax O’Neil I-4212, Printronix T8204 label, and the T8308 Invoice, and Lexmark MS811dn laser printers, troubleshooting, repair, internal parts replacement as well as firmware updates. • Kronos Time clocks throughout warehouse, installation, troubleshooting, repair, DHCP setup and integration. • Symbol LI4278 usb Bluetooth scanners, troubleshooting, repair, the programing for the warehouse environment. • Honeywell CK3X RF scan guns and Zebra MC9090/9091 RF scan guns, including their maintenance, repair and setup for 2.4\5GHz network. • The network consists of thirty-two, 48 port Cisco switches. I monitor and change VLANs on the switches for different equipment needs. I coordinate and setup network 3rd tier support to program Cisco switches, acting their eyes and hands to accomplish switch maintenance, upgrades and rewires. • Setup network connections and program environmental equipment for 24/7 monitoring for email status reports to select staff members. • Configure static wireless addresses on the network for the robotic chucks that are used for merchandise picking throughout the warehouse racking system. These are robotic carts that roam the warehouse with an associate to pick merchandise from warehouse racks. • Setup, maintain, troubleshoot and repair the printers as well as the PC’s associated with the Accutech Auto-Baggers. The Auto-Baggers scan the merchandise, add the invoice page, return label and seal the shipping package as well as attaching the shipping label to the outside of the package. • Monitor user wireless connections to the network through, the Cisco Wireless Console, troubleshoot and repair user connection issues.
