About Mark Streeter

Mark Streeter, Managing Director, is the senior publishing (sell-side) analyst and sector leader in North America Credit Research at J.P. Morgan responsible for investment grade and high yield coverage of the Transportation (Airline, Aircraft Leasing, Rail, Freight, Shipping) and Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) sectors. Mark, who earned the CFA Institute’s Certificate in Sustainable Investing in '22, also serves as the Global Co-Head of Sustainable Investing Credit Integration. Mark’s 30yr+ career in real estate finance (the first six as a banker, the last 26 as a researcher) tracks the rise of REITs as an asset class. Since '00, Mark has led JPM's Transportation credit research team. Mark specializes in the aircraft debt markets and shares equity coverage of the aircraft lessors with his Hall-of-Fame research partner Jamie Baker. Mark has advised institutional investors, private investors, and issuers on capital markets transactions totaling ~$1 trillion. Mark, a Chartered Financial Analyst, is a 64x member of the Extel (fka Institutional Investor)"All-America Fixed Income Research Team", most recently in '24 as the #1 ranked analyst (and team) in IG REITs, IG Transportation, and HY Transportation. Mark and his teams have earned a #1 ranking 40x. Mark and the Sustainable Investing Fixed Income Research Team at J.P. Morgan were also Top 3 ranked for the first time in '24. Mark is serving his 3rd and final term as a Trustee for the ISTAT (International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading) Foundation and is a long-serving member on ISTAT's Scholarship Committee. Mark formerly served as a multi-term non-appraiser Board Member of the ISTAT International Appraisers’ Program Board of Governors. Mark has also testified before Congressional hearings on airline credit quality and pension reform. On behalf of the Aviation Working Group, Mark advised the Financial Accounting Standards Board on lease accounting rule changes. Mark has taught credit at SNL's REIT School and is an active speaker at the major real estate and aviation industry conferences. Mark, a Nareit member for 25+ years, served as a Program Coordinator for Nareit's REITweek and is a member of Nareit's Real Estate Investor Advisory Committee. Mark previously served as a Board Member of FIASI (the Fixed Income Analyst Society). Mark is a member of The Wings Club. Mark has also held memberships in the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers. Mark received his MBA degree from Columbia University and a BS degree magna cum laude from Boston College.
