Published Aquaculturist with large-scale commercial Hatchery/Facilities Manager experience as well as years of work as a Federal contract NOAA Marine Biologist having worked with cold and warm water species. USDOC recognized accomplishment with the first four Yelloweye Rockfish reared beyond metamorphosis and first reported success rearing past 30 days anywhere. NOAA Federal Fisheries Team Member of the Year Award Recipient 2017. First successful in-field methodology for spawning Surf Smelt with a 95.61% fertilization rate. Other examples of prior larval rearing experience included Amberjack (Kampachi), Pacific Threadfin (Moi), Rockfish, Salmon, Sablefish, Herring, Lamprey, Flat Fish, Lingcod, Yellow Fin Tuna, Blue Fin Tuna, Kingfish, Dungeness Crab, Abalone, Oysters, Manilla Clams and Octopus. Technical Inventory: Algae culture, live feed culture, fish husbandry, open circulatory/semi & full recirculating, water quality, tank design, fish transport, scientific data collection, pump & plumbing maintenance, and micro photography.
