Established track record with over 11 years of commercial experience in planning, designing, analysis, development and delivery using Microsoft stack of technologies. I have had experience consulting for health, energy, banking and agritech companies in New Zealand and London.My work as an IT consultant covers a wide range of areas. I have expertise in designing, building and implementing solutions for clients in a range of industries and disciplines. I have specialist expertise across the Microsoft stack of technologies and their cloud platform Azure. I work in partnership with clients, advising them on how to use IT in order to meet their business objectives or overcome problems. I provide guidance during selection and procurement as well as expert technical assistance. I work to improve the structure and efficiency of IT systems in various organisations. I deliver performance assessments of clients’ existing systems, facilitate strategic planning and implement new systems.At AbacusBio, I have taken a leading role in delivering a number of IT applications, the most significant of which is an on-farm and factory data capture and analysis application for a client in the New Zealand aquaculture industry, which has a database of more than 20 years of breeding information. I was also the lead Developer of the Hoofprint application, which is used to determine the on-farm carbon footprint of New Zealand farming systems. I have also consulted for a client in Northern Ireland, aiming to combine multiple databases from the dairy, beef and sheep industries into a central platform. Recently I have been developing a Universal Windows Application for a meat processing company in Australia and migrating AbacusBio’s infrastructure, document management system and SharePoint intranet onto the Office365 platform.
