My Career in Patient Financial Services covers a wide range of the Healthcare industry. I’ve worked in areas such as Commercial insurance, Workers compensation and Time loss, as well as Medicare Advantage insurance and Medicaid. I have experience in the review of hospital billing and individual provider billing done on HCFA-1500 and UB92 forms with knowledge of CPT codes, HCFA codes, and Hospital Revenue codes as well as ICD9 and ICD-10 coding, all while maintaining compliance with HIPAA. I’ve worked in a variety of call centers and was flown to an office in Houston,Tx to train new customer service representatives at one point during a reduction in workforce at Affiliated Computer Services. My time span there was 4 years, and my last seven months was spent after a promotion to Quality Assurance Analyst. I’ve demonstrated excellence in Customer Service working in inbound call centers regarding patient billing. My knowledge of programs ranging from EPIC to CUBS systems for patient billing and claims review span 7 years. I continue to possess adaptability to a wide variety of ever changing billing systems and am certain that my experience and skill set represent an opportunity for success and achievement in any facility dedicated to excellence in Healthcare.
