The Research Reactor Operator performs all tasks necessary to ensure the safe and productive operations of assigned research units. The Operator also performs R&D reactions based on Chemist or Engineers Batch Run sheet in a safe and controlled manner. You will take notes for every step of the procedure to capture and communicate the reaction parameters throughout the run and monitor operating equipment to ensure it is operating within desired ranges. You will manage raw materials, samples and products as detailed in the instructions and clean equipment as required. As an Operator, you will also make required rounds to ensure proper equipment operation and to perform required inspections.
