About Mark Timms

EWRB assessed Red Seal Trade Qualified Electrician with 18 years of experience within a range of industries. Proficient in all areas of industrial electronics and domestic/commercial electrical work, including installations, fault finding & repairs, I am also highly experienced in fire detection and suppression systems – my knowledge extends to conventional, addressable & extinguishing systems and I have managed and supervised technicians in many small and largescale projects, including all areas of design, installation, commission and maintenance. I too have become an internationally recognised Room Integrity Tester, most notably, I managed the testing of fire protection systems within 60 electrical rooms at Rio Tinto’s QMM Madagascar operations – a huge undertaking within a French-speaking environment. With a strong background and proven success providing industrial and domestic electrical services and fire detection and suppression systems, I am now seeking an overseas career challenge in New Zealand where I can make a valuable contribution through applying considerable experience, knowledge and skills.
