About Mark Tulchinsky

I have practiced and taught Nuclear Medicine at premier academic institutions since 1989, achieving the rank of Tenured Professor of Radiology and Medicine. My clinical practice includes general diagnostic tests (bone scans, myocardial perfusion imaging, etc.), molecular imaging (PET/CT), and therapeutic procedures (radioiodine therapy of thyroid diseases, Y-90 SIR-Spheres for liver metastasis, etc.). I regularly organize scientific sessions and lecture frequently at National specialty meetings. I have extensively published in peer-reviewed Journals. My academic outreach is realized through active membership in the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, where I served in various leadership positions, including a 2-year term as the President of the General Nuclear Medicine Council (2010-2012). My specialty advocacy is pursued through active membership in the American College of Nuclear Medicine. I am often asked for my opinion regarding the changing landscape of our practice and science by the news media, industry decision-makers, and other leaders in the specialty. The media posted below represents handouts of my lectures presented at the Annual Meeting of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging that was held in Denver, CO (June 10-14, 2017).
