About Mark Vella

I am responsible, punctual and adaptable with strong written and verbal communication skills. I have gained a strong passion for training through working in the I-Gaming industry. Working in the I-Gaming industry has afforded me the ability to adapt quickly to the fast-paced nature of the business and learn many internal processes. I approach challenges with determination and confidence and am always eager to take on more responsibility. After graduating from my BSc course in IT and Networking I joined the Betfair Customer service team as an agent, and quickly got promoted to Shift Leader. I then took a position as a Quality Performance Analyst, where I was the first one on the team here in Malta as the rest of the team where located in the London office. After doing well in this position I was approached to start work on our e-learning training strategy including content, after the successful delivery of this project I was offered the position full time and became the only e-learning specialist in Paddy Power Betfair.• The ability to work under pressure and get the work done before deadlines.• The ability to communicate and interact with different levels of people.• Proven to be able to handle different types of situations or problems.• Motivated to exceed expectations and hitting targets.• The ability to observe and learn quickly.• Like to work on my own initiative.
