I have a MSc (distinction) in business and finance, and prior to moving to China, I worked in business and finance for approximately 18 years, including 12 years in management and leadership. My experience spans a variety of sectors and businesses; notably, Morgan Stanley, Direct Line Group plc and Glasgow International Airport. My greatest achievements and strengths match those aligned to continuous improvement, growth and success: • Expertise in establishing, maintaining and working collectively with internal and external stakeholders, covering various geographical locations. • Adaptable and intellectually curious, as exemplified in all positions undertaken. • Innate ability to think strategically, thus facilitating a culture which is agile, empowered and collaborative. • A history of increasing productivity. In 2021, I embarked on a career change - Economics, Business Studies and Humanities teacher. My wealth of industry experience and subject knowledge combined with my passion to share knowledge, ensures pupils are better equipped to grow and develop to become future entrepreneurs or global business leaders.
