About Mark Wassink

Mark was recently elected to his second term as Managing Partner of Warner. Mark worked in the Warner mailroom prior to law school, and has subsequently served as a leader of the firm in many roles throughout his legal career - including chair of the firm's Professional Staff Committee and chair of the Recruiting Committee - all while maintaining a successful corporate law career, Serving as Managing Partner is a true dream job for Mark. Mark's responsibilities include chairing the firm's Management Committee and guiding Warner's strategic direction and continued growth. Working closely with all nine of the firm's offices, Mark supports business development efforts with a particular focus on providing exceptional client service for both existing and new clients. Mark began his career working in the mailroom at Warner. Mark's unique experience working at many levels of the firm has made him a true believer in Warner's culture, which is based on a unique "lock step" compensation structure that is specifically designed to foster collegiality, teamwork and the very best in client service. Mark has been asked to speak to various legal entities on the benefits of lockstep. This unique culture permeates all levels of the firm. As a practicing attorney, Mark specializes in complex finance transactions, representing both borrowers and lenders.
