After spending 20 years as a high schooI administrator, I retired a few years ago to support my mom who had experiencesd a severe brain bleed, and my father who has been diagnosed with progressive dementia. I've learned the hard way that stressful jobs and lives slowly, but surely, can be silent killers. It's crucial for us to take care of ourselves. I entered massage therapy because I wanted to help myself live a longer and healthier life- quality, not quantity. I've no doubt that Every Body can benefit from massage therapy. I spent twenty years as a high school administrator. My final five years I was the only administrator at a continuation high school. Think of my position as that of a governor. I was responsible for budgets, enrollment, staffing, technology, safety procedures, grounds, events, activities, and more. The California Department of Education recognized my school as a Model Continuation High School in my final year. Inclusionary team building was my greatest strength.
