Highly-productive Software Engineer and Business Analyst for 35+ years, experienced with waterfall and agile methodology for enterprise software development, and 16+ years maintenance and design of Ellipse Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) package using COBOL and Java languages. I have excellent analytical and programming skills, and strive to complete work tasks effectively by taking ownership. I understand and learn technology skills quickly and possess a strong working ethic to collaborate and mentor with team members (either co-located or remote) to achieve valuable results. My attention to detail and logical approaches to problem-solving guarantees customer satisfaction whilst minimising future defects. I have worked all phases of the SDLC life cycle, and work equally and efficiently in design, development and testing (covers unit, functional, regression and acceptance testing) roles. I have a quiet, calm and patient temperament, and enjoy sudoku and brain-teaser puzzles in my spare time. Designing and delivering computer software gives me a feeling of accomplishment and pride similar to completing a difficult puzzle.
